June 8th is World Oceans Day

In 2008 that United Nations officially recognized World Oceans Day as a way to celebrate the body of water that links all of us.  This year the theme is Youth: the Next Wave for Change.

36. blue-lights-and-tea answered: diving near Turks and Caicos and in one dive bumping into a black tip reef shark, a school of hammerheads and a turtle! Bliss!
